Calendula
Calendula petals are primarily known for their healing abilities against skin irritation and rash. It prevents the spread of the infection and speeds up recovery. It is used externally for eczema, burns, micosis, sunburns, athlete’s foot and against inflammations in general. Its antifungal, antibacterial, and antivirus properties are attributed to the presence of different chemical compounds including carbohydrates, amino acids, lipids, terpenoids, flavonoids and other constituents in its oil extract. The effectiveness in the healing of wounds, sores and various inflammatory and minor skin conditions is due to effecting blood capillary vessels tightening.
St. John's Wort
Its oily extract known as “St. John’s Wort Oil” displays an anti-inflammatory action because of its high concentration of flavonoids. It acts as a painkiller for cramps, neuralgia, and migraine. It is reported to be extremely antiseptic and it is applied externally not only for wounds but also for burns and sores. According to studies, iperferon, prohibits the development of bacteria such as “Streptococcus pyogenicm Streptococcus agalactiae. It is effective against the penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and the methicillin - resistant Staphylococcus aureus (PRSA). Based on the above it can be concluded that it is a remedy for infected injuries and eczema.
Yarrow

Hyssop
It is used for the treatment of dermatitis and eczema as a natural antifungal, antiseptic and antibiotic. Furthermore, it relieves rheumatics, as it has a spasmolytic ability, and enhances skin recovery at wounds and injuries.
Mallow/Marshmallow
Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis derives from the Greek verb “althaeno” which means “cure”) has been reported to have healing, emollient, soothing and anti-inflammatory abilities. It treats skin inflammations and counteracts the effects of insect bites.
Lavender Essential Oil
Its main constituents are geraniol, linalool and linalyl acetate. It is very renowned for its healing properties and is widely used for burns, insect bites and skin irritations. It also lessens acne and soothes burns and ulcers. Research suggests that lavender oil has many advantages for hair, too.
